At the heart of everything we do at Girls Own Adventure is respect. 

Respect above all for the exquisite vintage textiles we use and for the artisans who created them.

Respect for the earth by concentrating on reusing and recycling wherever possible. We breathe new life into beautiful vintage textiles otherwise destined for landfill. All of our soft, luscious cushion inserts are made from 100% PET fibre from recycled water bottles.

Respect for the future owners of our pieces - we ensure the highest quality by lovingly handmaking each item in our own studio here in Canberra. Every piece is completely unique, with each design dictated by the individual piece of salvaged vintage cloth. No two pieces are the same.

We acknowledge and respect the Ngunnawal people, who are the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work. We pay our respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging.
